May Is High Blood Pressure Education Month

One out of three American adults has hypertension. That's 67 million people who are 4 times more likely to die from a stroke and 3 times more likely to die from heart disease. More than half of these Americans do not have their high blood pressure under control, and because it often has no warning signs or symptoms, an estimated 14.1 million aren't even aware of their condition.

May is High Blood Pressure Education and Stroke Awareness Month, and it's a good time to find out how to "make control your goal."
